lover girl collection // valentines day

i am a lover girl at heart!! this collection is soooo adorable. perfect for our cozy girls, cottage core girls, and/or the girlies that love a good staple item in their closet.

we have our own designed crew necks, the "lover girl crews". we have it in sizes small-3xl and have 2 different colors. baby blue + baby pink & dusty pink + red. you can wear them any time, not just around valentines day. i will be wearing mine basically everyday when i get cozy when i get home for the day. the dusty pink + red one would look SOOO good with our "heartless bow shorts". opes you need both now ;)

we have our 2 new favorite cardigans, "ruby crochet cardigan" and "tie me up cardigan". we are based in vermillion, sd so the ruby cardigan will be perfect for any usd game or literally anywhere else. also, perfect for our nebraska gals for dressing up the husker games. it is perfect for layering especially for spring time since it's so lightweight. our other cardigan is perfection! it is giving cottage core vibes with the neutral cream and white lace on the collar. i will be wearing it to a farmers market or to lunch with my girlies.

lastly, you better look at those accessories too <3 hot to go lanyard and minimalist earrings, in both silver and gold!! we will be listening to chappel roan all day in celebration of this drop.

can't wait for you all to drool over these new arrivals and spread love with us. thank you for helping us start the year right!!

xoxo kasey

meet kasey + ru

meet kasey + ru

hiiiiii my name is kasey and I am the new hello ruby owner! I have nothing, but amazing things to say about jill and the business she has built over these past 7 years. heres to new changes and year 8!!

a bit about me, I am from omaha, ne so that is how I knew about hello ruby and this amazing shopping experience. I am 25, a hairstylist, salon owner, and now mobile boutique owner. I opened "kasey designs" (my salon) when I was 20 years old and once covid hit I started an online boutique called "lover girl". I moved to vermillion, sd 3 years ago and have been loving the small town vibes. I am definitely a big city girl living in a small town for sure though. I love fashion and all things beauty. <3

once I saw jill post about selling hello ruby, I instantly knew I had to reach out!!! 3 months later everything fell into place. with that being said, I changed my online boutique into hello ruby and bye bye lover girl, but it is onto bigger and brighter things. I am so excited for events, driving the big truck, and connecting with people in the midwest. we are now based in vermillion, sd. we have a store front that is shared with kasey designs, open tuesday-thursday 11-6. we will be traveling around the siouxland area doing pop ups, but don't worry we will still be in the omaha area once in awhile. we will focus in vermillion, sioux city, sioux falls, + surrounding small towns.

jill has been training me on all things hello ruby!! this year I will focus on events, curating collections, designing items, and driving the truck like a pro.

now onto ru, she is my 8 months old frenchie pup that is the new mascot of hello RUby ;) she is so friendly, loves to meet new people, and she might be at some of the pop ups with me!

xoxo kasey and ru

Where there's a wheel, there's a way! PODCAST ALERT!

My goal for a podcast finally came true after sitting on my vision board for years and years! A meeting with Hurrdat Media through a contact at a pop-up that Emily Jessen invited me to quickly has become my most exciting meetings lately. :)

Join me as I share the behind-the-scenes diaries of curating my boutique-on-wheels experience from the beginning in 2017 up until now. I’ll be highlighting the latest trends, discussing the ins and outs of mobile retail and the inside scoop on the good, bad + ugly.

But it's not just about fashion; it's also about community. I also co-founded 'A Local Collective' with my boutique bestie, Katie Lakin and I'll dive into the heart of supporting small businesses and sharing killer collaborations. Discover how my passion for fashion extends beyond the truck, creating a collective space that uplifts and unites entrepreneurs in Nebraska.

You can expect conversations with fellow small business owners, insights into the fashion industry's trends, and exclusive peeks into hello ruby. And if you know me personally, you know I can't skip on celebrity gossip, Bravo, and the hottest trends on TikTok.

You'll be able to listen + watch on all major podcasting platforms! Thanks for the support, as always!
